Some simple details are challenging to frame, but make a project feel complete. To transform a chopped-up kitchen into an open, modern space, we extended the rear of the home, adding a window out to the patio and bringing the windowsills flush to the countertop, maximizing workspace, natural light, and outdoor connection. We tackled similar challenges throughout this renovation, as we reconceived the floor plan and rearranged the entryway for seamless comings and goings.

To facilitate access from the driveway and detached garage, we added this bright and elegant vestibule with split-level access up to the main entertaining spaces and down to a mudroom and utility spaces.
