Raising the roof

32 Teel

The owners of this early 20th century two-family home wanted to convert a shallow attic to a primary suite and family room. We conquered structural challenges with creative problem solving, raising the roof using innovative techniques to support the loads. We sourced and custom-fabricated hardware to meet a strict budget, and built our clients a barn door full of period charm.
